Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Mitch McConnell is launching a new television ad attacking his opponent's record in the U.S. Senate, Lunsford's campaign said Thursday.
The ad accuses incumbent U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Louisville) of backing out on promises he's made on a number of issues.
The ad cites newspaper articles to highlight what it calls McConnell's reversals on tax increases, veterans' benefits and Medicare cuts, among other issues.
