Bush and McConnell: Best buds 'till the end

Is Mitch McConnell the only republican willing to appear in public with George W. Bush anymore?

Bush headlined a fundraiser last night called the President’s Dinner to benefit McConnell and the National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee, raking in a whopping $12 million dollars.

I guess he's not backing away from calling Dubya "one of the greatest presidents in the history of the United States."

He might want to reconsider, as PolitickerKY.com reports that Obama nearly halfed McCain's lead in the state.
