Wednesday night’s Democratic debate in Louisville between two of the candidates vying for the chance to challenge four-term U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Louisville) was a mostly cordial affair marked by the absence of apparent frontrunner Bruce Lunsford.
The campaign for Democratic senatorial candidate Greg Fischer has released an internal poll conducted by Global Strategy Group showing Democratic opponent Bruce Lunsford leading Fischer by a 37%-22% margin.
The poll also finds Lunsford with 38% favorable and 19% unfavorable ratings. Fischer receives 20% favorable and 5% unfavorable.
