Debate watch ratings: Louisville is just average

When it comes to interest in Tuesday night's second presidential debate, Kentucky is as average as can be.

According to Nielsen ratings, 42.4 percent of households in Louisville tuned in to watch U.S. Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Barack Obama (D-Ill.) spar last night. For 55 of the top 56 media markets in the country, the overall household rating was 42.1 percent.

Nashville, the cite of the debate, topped the ratings chart at 59.2 percent.

LOUISVILLE -- Former President Bill Clinton made a brief stop in Louisville this afternoon for a rally at Butler High School.

On behalf of the presidential campaign of his wife, U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), the former president spoke for about 30 minutes to a crowd of about 300 supporters.
