Roll call: 36 for Obama, 24 for Clinton
By Trey Pollard, PolitickerKY.com ReporterDENVER -- Tonight's roll call vote on the floor of the Democratic convention is underway and the results for the Kentucky delegation are in.
36 Kentucky delegates voted for U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) while 24 went for U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.).
The results are out of proportion from the original allocation of votes in the state. After the May 20 Democratic primary in the Commonwealth and the state's Democratic convention, Clinton was awarded 40 delegates while Obama had 20 delegates - including superdelegates.
