College GOP Fundraiser Brings Out Northup, Grayson
By Trey Pollard, PolitickerKY.com ReporterCollege Republicans from the University of Louisville and Bellarmine University have joined forces to organize the third annual Legacy Dinner, to be held at 7pm tonight in Louisville.
Several prominent Republicans are scheduled to speak at the event, including Secretary of State Trey Grayson, former Congresswoman and current 3rd District Congressional Candidate Anne Northup, 4td District Congressman Geoff Davis, and former ambassador Cathy Bailey. Former Kentucky Derby winner and member of the Racing Hall of Fame Pat Day will deliver the invocation at the event.
Local metro council members and state legislators from the Louisville area are also expected to be in attendance.
The event - a fundraiser for both College Republican organizations - will be held at downtown Louisville's Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center.
