Burch: ‘Clinton and Obama are being too nice to each other’

Among the elected officials at the opening of Hillary Clinton’s state headquarters was state Rep. Thomas Burch (D-Louisville). Burch will serve as a co-chair for Clinton’s campaign in Jefferson County. He expressed some dismay with the state of the primary race, arguing the two Democratic campaigns were not doing enough to expose each other’s vulnerabilities prior to the general election.

“Clinton and Obama are being too nice to each other,” said Burch. “They don’t attack each other’s weak sides. Weaknesses should be identified. Right now, it’s like a boxing match where the two boxers are only touching gloves.”
