Senator Hillary Clinton will make her return to Kentucky on May 9, just over a month after she appeared at a Louisville rally and the Governor Ruby Laffoon fundraiser in Madisonville.
This time, Clinton will be joining top state Democrats in Louisville for a fundraiser for the Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP).
The event will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center.
Clinton will appear with confirmed guests Governor Steve Beshear (D-Lexington) and Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo (D-Hazard). A KDP release also notes state party Chair Jennifer Moore and Vice Chair Nathan Smith - both uncommitted superdelegates - will be in attendance. In addition to those two, Beshear is the lone remaining uncommitted Kentucky superdelegate.
A spokesman from the KDP noted Senator Barack Obama has also been invited to the event, and his campaign reportedly is "trying to work it into his schedule."
