Ryan Alessi of the Lexington Herald-Leader reports Senator Hillary Clinton (D-New York) briefly touched down in Louisville today for a meeting with the editorial board of the Louisville Courier-Journal.
Clinton also stopped at her campaign's Kentucky headquarters on Bardstown road for about 25 minutes to meet with supporters and - evidently - talk horse racing, in advance of this weekend's Kentucky Derby.
Alessi reports Clinton is favoring the race's only filly, Eight Belles.
That horse is currently a 20 to 1 bet to win.
