The ad below from U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Louisville) is curious. It's probably good for driving up U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer's (D-N.Y.) name id in the state (his name is mentioned seven times in 60 seconds). But beyond the base, does this really resonate when the economy is in a recession and people are worried about their jobs?
