Bruce Lunsford

One poll has the race at a dead heat, and he's getting a visit from Bill Clinton. The momentum is clearly with Lunsford.

Mitch McConnell

Many observers now consider the race a toss-up.

John Yarmuth

He still holds a safe lead in the polls and is on his way to re-election.

Anne Northup

It's never easy to take on an incumbent, and the anti-Republican political environment is a headwind that's made the task all the more difficult.

Robert Felner

The former University of Louisville dean was charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and defraud the IRS.

Geoff Davis

The incumbent congressman chickened out of second invitation for a televised debate.

Momentum

McCon sees the train coming at him at full speed and he's frozen. All he can claim is "clout." He will represent the losing minority party if he's so lucky as to win and they will probably dump him for incompetence, someone has to pay the price for the upcoming Republican disaster.
Lunsford, as a new Senate member of the winning party, will have much more "clout" as an important swing vote than the has been McConnell.
